There is something ironic about US citizens whose families have lived
here for less than 400 years complaining about illegal immigrants... Anyway, the very real reason why no politician is willing to touch this issue is because the US economy has become dependent on cheap illegal labor. So to adjust ash's proposal: 2a) Huge price increases in all domestic products due to regular wages being paid 2b) Consumers pick cheaper imported merchandise 2c) US companies fold or go overseas Thus 3) No need for guest worker program - Marco
