Wooooo! Great story. Hard to forget any of that. I don't know about
you, but that kind of experience makes my seat pan tingle The F-111s probably thought you were a particularly ugly buzzard. Actually you get past that after awhile. 3000'+ is like breathing air (eastern US) I've got a little sailplane XC story for ya....
