Default So where you flying for Turkey Day?

You should have came over onto the Omaha sectional and stopped by on
your way.


I thought monsters lay (lie?) off the edge of the sectional...

Maybe that's why I've never been on the Chicago sectional? ;-)


I know it's dumb, in this age of moving-map-GPS, but we truly are
artificially limited by our sectional boundaries. When we're thinking of
places to go, we just whip out the map and start hunting around for likely
targets -- and that means that anything "off the edge" never seems to get
seen.

For example, there are quite a few airports in southern Minnesota (less than
an hour away) that we've never been to, simply for that reason. It's really
dumb.

What airport are you based at again? Maybe we'll have to explore "off the
grid" one of these days?
