I'm buying a new Ventus from the factory, and considering the pro's and con's of their "Special 2K-painting" option, which is about 3000 Euro. Would like to hear any real-world experience that other pilots If one does this, does it make the inevitable sanding after the spar bump appears in a few years much harder? I have heard of pilots ordering PU on control surfaces and fuselage, but leaving the wings in gelcoat for this reason. John Cochrane |
