In MS OE, highlight on "tools" at the top of an open program

Highlight "message rules" and from the new drop down, click on "news"

On the right side, select and click on "new"

In the new dialog box, in 1), check the box "where the from line contains
people", then go to 2) and check the box "mark the message as watched or
ignored"

In the next box down, where it has a link that says "contains people" and
type in Mxsmanic, then add, and OK. A new box will come up and where it
says "watched or ignored", select it, and a new box will come up, put a dot
in the box that says "ignore".

You can then follow the procedure to apply it to the correct newsgroup.

You will have to feel your way around on the next step, because my computer
is already modified, and It will not show what I did, without a lot of steps
backwards.

Go to the "view at the top of a program page, and I think you click on view,
select current view, and go down to customize view, and here it is foggy,
but you go down and check hide read or ignored messages, and go on to click
on hide ignored messages, and it should bring up a new selection in the drop
down menu from the view at the top of the program box, that says hide
ignored message. Select that box, and you are finally done.

I hope you can get it done from my so-called description. It does make life
much better, and it is worth the time.
