"Harry" wrote I need some advice from those of you who have had the thrill of attending Oshkosh. This year for the first time, I will be going. Unfortunately, in a car :-(. However, what I'm looking for is given that I will only be able to attend 1 day maybe 2 at the outside, what should I focus on? In other words, what would be the biggest bang for my buck? BTW, I read on the EAA web link today that the U-2 will be there this year. Obviously that is a must see. My advise is to wait to go on a year that you can spend at least 5 days. 1 day is a waste of time, and 2 days is almost as bad. If you insist on going, it would be helpful to know what your interests are. Everything aviation is there. Without knowing, there is no way to advise you. -- Jim in NC |
