There were a few stretches here and there where you could go flat out if the traffic allowed. Of course the traffic never really allowed. You must be kidding! I've been up to over 160 KM/h in a bus! Once, while on approach in a stiff wind, (MY GS would have been about 115 knots, so call it 125 mph) I was passed by a car on the autobahn beneath me. Now, I was used to this in Cubs and what not, but in a jet? Bertie |
