Why so expensive (flight recorders) - some random thoughts

Marc I guess what I thought was going on here was us discussing whether we should try to convince the IGC to allow GPS altitude or not. Actually getting the ICG to change wasn't my focus. If somebody had given a reason that GPS altitude was just not gonna work, I would drop the question. Todd
