What's this about "used against America"? Whatever the History Channel
may tell you, the Korean conflict was a United nations operation and many
other nations were involved.

Canada, Colombia, Ethiopia, France, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New
Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey and the United
Kingdom count?

"used against America" was most likely just a general statement due to the
fact the USAF had an average of 9 fighter wings and 3 bomber wings deployed
during the war (with some RAF pilots assigned), while the RAF had one
Sunderland flying boat wing (2 squadrons) in Japan. The USN had 2-4 aircraft
carriers on the line during the entire war (TF 77) that flew over 301,000
strike flights. The Commonwealth had one carrier (TF 95) on the line flying
over 25,000 flights. USN escort carriers in TF 95 flew another 20,000
flights.


Indeed, but it's back to the History Channel perception that only
America was involved, as mentioned in another thread in this group.
