They sure did I was listening on CNN and one reporter comented how hard
it is to put a plane into water when the engines are under the wings. He then went to say Unlike a 727 or Tristar that has the engines in the tail.... Need I say more? They also talked about how it may have been a bird strike while showing film of birds being shot by canon into running engines. The Irony was they kept repeting he may have hit A (1) bird. I think he hit a whole Flock and took a few into both engines and if they were Canada Geese WOW dam good he did not take one through the windscreen or we all know what would have happened. Great job by the Pilot and crew To bad CNN does not have any reporters that really know their aircraft. That Tristar comment.... And one bird pffft. |
