Who would have thought? Bits of metal, doped up fabric, an engine which you had to start by HAND, a rickety seat, a stick, basic instruments, if any, and off you go into the air . . . Now that takes guts! Thank you for those shots, sir. They are very impressive as well as those very early aircrafts. A lot of these things are flown by airline pilots, which makes sense, given that they want to FLY and their jobs now revolve around instrument and computer monitoring............. |
