Many countries that use torture would never dream of allowing these reports. It's been reported in the UK that the Pentagon's spent the last two weeks trying to prevent the public disclosure of these photos by the American media, and apparently succeeded considering they're only showing them now since they leaked out from elsewhere. Did you fail to note that, in addition, they've been investigating the issue with the goal of punishing the guilty? That is something the loony left doesn't understand. Most militaries would never bother investigating the allegations; the U.S. and Britain do, and when facts justify, prosecute in the Military Justice System those accused. Let the JAG and CID folks do their jobs, and see if anyone is reccommended for a Court-Martial. Posted via www.My-Newsgroups.com - web to news gateway for usenet access! |
