Republic XF-12 Rainbow

I've never know you to be wrong but this doesn't look like a fighter. Isn't the XF indicative of a fighter under testing while bombers get XB? Dunno...never heard of it until I started to research it for the mornings post. Designed to be for recon and nothing else. If it's good enough for Wiki, it's good enough for me. *
