Fuselage cradle - New carpet

Any ideas on how to keep the new carpet layer attached to the complete steel curved surface until the glue goes off apart from using the fuselage itself? Sand bags or a contractor-grade trash bag filled with water to create an even pressure around the contoured surface. Uli 'AS'
