Nimbus 3 turbulators

We are refinishing the outer panels of my Nimbus 3 and want to verify
placement of the turbulator strips....when I bought the glider they
were about 1/2 inch in front of the trailing edge (in front of
aelirons)....... they did not cover the last 7 feet (approximately) of
the outer panel. Any input??

Mine are in almost exactly the same place as you have described.

Mine are in almost exactly the same place as you have described.

Mine go all the way out to within 2 inches of the end of the outboard
panels. There's a photo somewhere on the LH LWR wing page on my

I asked the factory (Schempp) about sealing for a Ventus
and got a PDF that covers Ventus, Nimbus 3 and Discus.

There doesn't seem to be a way to upload it here so
if you write me I will send it on to you.
