Stupid Question from a newbie by
expresstechonsite
Ok... I'm sure most anyone that reads this will think I'm an idiot, but
I'm so curious...
Could I build an ultralight airframe from EMT (electrical conduit) from
the local hardware store? I know that welding it would be inadvisable
due to the fact that it is galvanized (although I understand...

Hourmeter Checkout by
Dick
After my original stopped working, I orderd a Westach hourmeter from A.S.
Supply.
It does not work and before I send it back, thought I might check my
troubleshootinmg logic G as it seems unlikely I'd get a bad meter.
In plane: confirmed ground and hot leads installed properly on meter
backside...

this week to kick things off.
I've got some questions on how to properly prepare and work with the

First: I know I...

What would the log entry be? by
mhorowit
I'm taking apart a Tcraft with the understanding there will be some
rust apparent. My plan is to have the fuselage cleaned, repaired and
primed by my regular IA, with me doing the same to smaller parts i.e.
rudder, stabilizers, ailerons. My regular IA is an hour away; the local
EAA chapter has IAs...

82 UL Fuel by
floater
82UL was developed several years ago, to be easily produced from
automotive fuel. Instead of being produce by only one or two
manufacturers as 100LL is, 82UL could be made by any oil company. This
should make it cheaper to produce. 82UL is NOT a replacement for 100LL.
It is my understanding that...

I'm looking for a high efficiency Aux Power Unit. I'm actually
building a electric car, and want some way to recharge besides plugging
in. I'd like to go with a microturbine/turbine for both space and
efficiency concerns. I'm looking for anything over 30 kW of power,
