Crows? by
Colin Roney
I`m searching for good ideas how to deter crows from landing on my glider,
which is picketted out during the season, from wrecking my weather covers?

Is Trizact worth the money? by
[email protected]
I'm curious to know if experienced glider sanders think the 3m trizact is worth the money they charge for it. I can get more than twice the number of 3000 grit 3m purple sanding disks for the same price. They don't have the foam backing - but I can fix that. Is the trizact 3000 more than twice...

Schleicher K 13 aerobatic approval by
James Rizzo Esq
We are examining the Type Certiifcate for the K13. The original indicates
aerobatics including spins "not approved".
in 1967 Schleicher issued an AD approving semi aerobatics and spins, and
printed a modified page 22 to the flight manual. Does this automatically
modify the type certificate? ...

the greatest gliding pilot in the world ! by
Mal[_4_]
Steve Fossett is being haled by Richard Branson as "the greatest aviator in
the world, he's also the greatest gliding pilot in the world"
I hope via a miracle they find him alive.
Given the technology he was carrying I find the chance of him being alive
remote.
I also noted Steve Irwin passed...

The movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" includes no soaring
and no gliders, but in one scene there is a _picture_ of a sailplane
hanging on the wall.

Pegasus becomes Lazarus! (or "I'm not dead yet!") by

I am holding in my hot little hand a letter from Jacqueline Jambor, a Manager with the FAA's Project Support Branch, ACE-112. It states that the FAA has accepted the request submitted by my friend and hangar partner, airshow pilot Bob Carlton, for a Global Alternate Method Of Compliance (AMOC) that...
