So, the obvious solution is to dump all the spendy computers, fly with basic instruments, enjoy the scenery, and preserve the gray matter!
Folks, let's not get too carried away on a tongue-in-cheek post. However, there are certain aspects of those studies that we should take heed of. The information supplied to the glider pilot continues to increase year after year and that is undeniable. I am a firm believer that our eyes are more and more in the cockpit and that trend is increasing. Let's find a happy medium and fly safe. And, of course, flying (& driving, etc) is multitasking. |
