Gatt,
Maybe it's just Porsche envy. Porsche drivers are a small minority here. If you want a decent car that doesn't break, it's the same in Germany as in the US: Get a Toyota. Well, we're a "free country" that was founded by people who were largely considered too religious and fundamentally weird for the english. : Or convicted ex-prisoners. ;-) -- Thomas Borchert (EDDH)
