What is so "commercial" about a homebuilder trying to sell.....

("abripl" wrote)
Look at it another way. You sure got a lot of publicity and attention
for your sale. That will help to sell it.

Look at it another-nother way. Auction items should have been offered to the
group first - otherwise it is "commercial" (a.k.a. spam).

I think that whenever I see a post with, 'Hey, look at my eBay auction.'

It must be great to be perfect.

I'm guessing that double shot was meant for me.
(If we were in a bar that would be a good thing)

I'm pretty easy going with the "look at my (aviation) product" or the "check
out my plane for sale" posts - many times I'll even post some follow-up
questions. We really are not inundated with too much "commercial" spam on
the rec.aviation.newsgroups. Some, but not too much, IMHO.

The eBay posts are a little different for me, don't know why for sure.

I'm all for someone trying to get the most bucks for their bang, I just
don't like the group having to compete with eBay. That said, it's nice to be
alerted that something is out there.

There's just something about eBay links that rub me the wrong way - that's
all.

Montblack
Speaking of rubbing the wrong way - garbage? perfect?
