Default trailer transport

I am looking forward to flying at Serendipity Soaring. Currently we do not have a training facility close to the Boise metropolitan area. Even thought Serendipity Soaring is 125 miles away, it is a lot closer then Driggs. (330 miles), or Hood River (370 miles.)

That PNW safari suggestion sounds it could be a fun! Accommodation on such a trip can vary greatly from the Baker City historic Geiser Grand Hotel (http://www.geisergrand.com/) to tent camping at the King Mountain Glider Park, Moore, ID. (http://www.kingmountaingliderpark.com/)

Mackay, ID and the King Mountain Glider Park are only 16 miles apart. They both are in the valley at the base of the Lost River Mountain Range and provide access to Central Idaho's excellent summer soaring conditions (http://www.soaridaho.com/photogallery/Mackay_2006/) and the King Mountain wave window.

I answered him by e-mail but haven't heard back yet.

On a few trips through Baker City, OR, I wondered about its potential
as a great soaring site. We may know more soon. Gary Boggs was there
last summer to aero and auto tow so the local FBO could test it out.
Gary had a flight in his baby Grob and got to 15,500 in the area.
Wayne told me about this a few weeks ago, so I stopped by to visit on
a return trip from Seattle. Tom Holland (FBO) and company have
acquired a two-seater and a tow plane. They need to finish some check
outs, but Serendipity Soaring should be operation next season. Baker
City has some tourist ride potential and local soaring interest,
obviously if someone is bringing in a single seater. The main runway
is 5000ft long. Airfield is 3360 MSL.

Be interesting to know if some of the PNW pilots think some epic
safari flights might be doable, Ephrata, WABaker City, ORMoore or
Mackay, IDLogan, UT??
