Typical glider & trailer total weight?
SGS 1-35 (all aluminum) with Gehrlien trailer (originally open) with
aluminum sheet cover is 1325 lbs with only the plane. The plane is 486 lbs. There must be 150 lbs of other "stuff" in there now. Tongue Weight 85 lbs. It's hardly noticable behind my Subaru Legacy (Class II 2500 lb rated) and ok with a Toyota Corolla except on big hills. (Class I rated 1500 lbs.) agl
