37 Degree Single vs Double Flared Tubing
Do aluminum fuel lines need to be double flared (37 degree flaring)? A 37
degree double flaring tool is very expensive compare to the single flare type. I ran across this in a Car Craft magazine article: "Most tubing in the aircraft industry is extruded in one piece with no seam, so double flares aren't required to prevent crack formation." |
