Cherokee 140 Carb Heat Cable Issue
Hello,
I have a Cherokee 140, and I think the carb heat cable is not connected to the handle on the pannel correctly. I have a handle that moves up and down (not push/pull). Currently the cable was put through the whole on the back of the lever and bent around it. Shouldn't their be a connection something like their is on the airbox handle side of the cable? Thanks, Scott Taylor N8030N |

The cockpit end of the cable should have a threaded end, the cable end should be threaded into a clevis and attached to the lever with a screw, castellated nut and cotter pin. Sounds like the cable end broke and was jury-rigged. |
