It's a Beech 1900D registered to Mesa Airlines.

Thanks, Rob. At least for the next few weeks, Mesa flies from Midway to my
son's college town of Kirksville, Missouri. I suppose this is what he might
have been on if he had skipped the drive to Kansas City.

Mesa's sign at Gate A4-A (the extra A means you have to do even more walking
to get there) bragged that they go to The Sticks, The Boonies and Timbucktu.
Or something like that.

If you have an "N" number, just type it into Google and follow the link to
registry.faa.gov (You could go there directly, but then you would have to
remember the URL, eh?)

here's a shot of one from inflight :-)


Looks like you had a front row seat, Glenn. I like the way they keep the
front of the prop polished so you can see the pilot's window.
