When to buy an engine. by
Ebby
Calling on the group for advice. I have stumbled upon an O-320 off a C-172.
The engine has 2780 since new and is timed out. Although when ferried from
the south, on a 9 hour flight it only used 1 qt. I get the mags, engine,

Canopy question by
Neal Fulco
If you look at the size of most of the canopies made in the United

Lancair 360, etc. ) their height seems to be limited to around 16-18
inches. If you look at most of the European canopies ( Ban-bi, Storm,
Sting, and the new one...

Objective Engine Discussion by
Rick Maddy
I wish to begin gathering UNEMOTIONAL, tangible pros and cons on
engine choices for my Cozy Mk IV. I won't be ready to begin working on
my firewall for about 12 more months.
As I see it today I have the following engine choices:
Lycoming 360 or XP-360
Mazda 13B or Renesis
Jabiru 5100
Subaru ???

you have any recommendations before I make a purchase. What did you

Thanks

As we all know, the world's only B307 Stratoliner was beautifully
restored at Boeing, flown to Oshkosh 2001, then run out of fuel and
dunked in Puget sound. It was then re-restored and appeared at Oshkosh
2003 and is beautiful!.
A friend of mine, Gene, was invited to tour the B307. When...
