Any plans available for building a wood and fabric glider these days? Careful, Scott. Glider or Sailplane? My personal distinction being somewhere in the 25:1 glide ratio range. The Vintage Sailplane Association has plans available for a number of "gliders" and even a couple of "sailplanes". But if you are wanting newer designs (without struts), you will have to search the other places for used sets. Just keep in mind that, just like that RV-4 you are working on, building an sailplane is a BIG project. Steve Leonard |
