Here is the response I received from Agnes (see below)
at Cobra. I have a couple of ideas that I want to try
but was interested if anyone else has any suggestions.

Hello Brian,
sorry to let you wait. I had to investigate first because
I am not too familier with this job and Alfred is not
around.
I was told that this task is very difficult for one
unexperienced.
You just need to make sure that you have removed all
the bolts and then fumble around until it gets out.
It is kind of tricky and I heared the boys cursing
when they did it. Only if you don't get it done you
would at least also remove part Nr. 8 but normally
it should not be necessary.
